Music Producer Samklef deported from UK for false claims

The story, published recently in Encomium Weekly, alleged that the father of one said he’d lied to immigration officers about his reasons for travelling to the U.K, saying most Nigerian artistes do it.
The magazine wrote:
Encomium Magazine: We learnt you told immigration that you were on vacation and they eventually found out you came for shows without work permit. How true is it?
Samklef: Yes
However, Samklef’s manager is now denying this. In a chat with NET, he said ‘I don’t know where Encomium got their information from.’
He however admits Samklef, 26, was denied entry, and sent back from Heathrow arrival.
Samklef refused to have a conversation with us on this issue, passing the phone to his manager after initially picking it up himself.
According to the manager, “Samklef was once invited to the U.K for a show, but couldn’t attend due to logistics challenges on the part of the organizers. A few months later, he got another invitation and tried to travel on the visa issued him by the former company, but unknown to him, that company had reported him to immigration, accusing him of fraudulent activities, hence, he was sent back to Nigeria”.
However, he claims everything has been settled since then, and ‘all is now well’.
No word yet on when the hit-maker, who celebrated the arrival of his first baby in March, few months after his wedding to Yvonne, is planning to return.

Innocent girl caught in the middle of fight between Drake and Chris Brown

Hip-hop rivals Chris Brown and Drake turned a New York City nightclub into a war zone that sent four innocent bystanders to the hospital early Thursday when they started a brutal brawl over the pop music diva Rihanna.
One of the club-goers caught in the middle was Hollie C, an Australian tourist who was rushed to Bellevue Hospital after she was smashed in the head with a flying bottle during the fight.
A gruesome photo shows a gash in her head and her face covered with blood. She needed 16 stitches to close the wound.
Witnesses say the two recording stars started fighting after Chris Brown sent Drake a bottle of Champagne as a peace offering. Drake reportedly sent the bottle back with a note: ‘I’m f****** the love of your life, deal with it.’
As they were squaring off, police don’t know who yet threw a bottle.
Drake, whose real name is Aubrey Drake Graham, was not in the group that confronted Chris Brown, NYPD Lt John Grimple told Mail Online.
Hollie, the injured tourist, told TMZ.com she went to W.i.P. with friends on Wednesday night, unaware they were sitting in between two angry rappers and their entourages.
Suddenly, all hell broke loose.

D'banj set to launch his own record label; calls it DKM Records

DKM stands for D'Koko Master Records and Kayswitch is the only artiste signed to the record label for now. Heard a few more artistes will be unveiled in the coming months.

D'Koko Master Records will be officially launched in Lagos at a concert that will feature D'banj, Kayswitch and other DKM artists.

And contrary to popular reports that Davido is signed to D'banj's label, I can confirm to you that it is false. Davido is signed to his own record label, HKN Records. He's only doing some musical collaborations with D'banj
The Koko master who has gained recognition with "Oliver Twist" in the UK, is signed to Kanye West's record label that has featured top acts like Jay Z and Drake, and is setting his sights on getting worldwide distribution with Universal Music Group for DKM records, whose African imprint recently signed a record distribution deal with Psquare.
"For me it's not about the record label, it's about the success story of the whole movement. It is about bringing the structure that has made music what music is in global world and bringing it to Africa" he said in an earlier interview.
The record label is another icing on the cake for this Nigerian star
